A Trump Media bitcoin Crypto.com transfer of 4,259 BTC — roughly $342 million — has been tracked on-chain, with Arkham labels showing two nearly equal batches of 2,140.03 BTC and 2,119.31 BTC moving from addresses tagged “2028 Convertible Notes Collateral” to an address attributed to Crypto.com at around 02:17 UTC on November 4-5.
Trump Media & Technology Group (NASDAQ: DJT) has not confirmed the move, and Arkham’s labels do not explain the reason. A transfer to an exchange is not, by itself, a sale — but the timing has the market looking at the calendar.
Why the Trump Media bitcoin Crypto.com Transfer Matters
Per its November 2 SEC filing (S-4/A), Trump Media’s convertible note holders can demand repayment on November 30, 2026 — potentially up to about $1 billion if every holder exercises the right. The same filing warns that the company may have to sell bitcoin or other digital assets if refinancing falls short. Its Q2 2026 10-Q reported 4,260.73 BTC pledged as collateral for the notes as of June 30, with withdrawals restricted under the loan indenture.
The moved coins equal roughly 30% of the approximately 14,139 BTC Trump Media said it held, including pledged coins, as of July 31, 2026.
Not the First Move — and Not Necessarily the Last
Arkham data shows earlier transfers to the same venue: about 2,650 BTC (~$205 million) in May 2026 and 2,628 BTC (~$165 million) in early August. A company spokesperson described those as part of a broader trading strategy and custody management rather than sales. CoinDesk, which also covered the latest transfer, cited a higher dollar figure — about $434 million — reflecting a different price snapshot; the roughly 4,259 BTC involved is the same on both counts.
With the November 30 repurchase date approaching and refinancing terms still open, the on-chain trail now doubles as a countdown clock. If more coins move before month-end, the label on the destination wallet will say as much about the company’s balance sheet as any press release. As of publication, Trump Media had not responded to a request for comment.
