BNB Chain tokenized stocks have overtaken Ethereum’s long-held lead, and the gap is no rounding error. According to Token Terminal data circulated in October 2026, BNB Chain now hosts roughly $1.1 billion of tokenized stocks and exchange-traded funds — about 30% share of the market — making it the first blockchain to push past $1 billion in tokenized equities.
Ethereum sits at approximately $828 million (~22%), with Solana at about $738 million (~20%), across a total market of roughly $3.7 billion.
How BNB Chain tokenized stocks reached $1 billion
The build-up is not one deal but a stack of them: issuers such as Kraken and Backed bring tokenized U.S. stocks to BNB Chain, and Ondo distributed tokenized Wall Street assets to BNB Chain’s user base, on PancakeSwap liquidity. Low fees and a large retail audience made BNB Chain an easy default venue for issuers who want distribution more than purism — the on-chain equivalent of choosing the crowded mall over the boutique.
What Ethereum and Solana still lead
Chain-level leadership is not destiny. Ethereum still anchors the deepest DeFi and institutional RWA infrastructure, and Solana’s ~20% share keeps it in contention. But for headline bragging rights in the tokenized real-world asset race, BNB Chain now holds the top slot.
Why tokenized stock market share matters
Tokenized equities are where crypto rails meet traditional finance at scale — the segment most sensitive to compliance tooling, corporate actions and issuer trust. A $3.7 billion market is still small versus equities overall, but the growth curve is the story: each billion of on-chain stock issuance pulls more brokers, issuers and regulators toward the infrastructure question rather than the whether question.
