The Ondo tokenization platform just claimed the top spot on the leaderboard nobody can buy their way out of: Ondo Finance now ranks as the world’s largest tokenization platform by asset value, first of 203 platforms tracked by RWA.xyz, with more than $4 billion in tokenized real-world assets under its roof.
That haul spans 484 tokenized assets and over 565,000 holders – numbers that make most of crypto’s mid-cap experiments look like a school project. The milestone underscores how quickly the real-world asset market has matured from whiteboard ideas into four-billion-dollar plumbing.
What sits inside the Ondo tokenization platform’s $4 billion
Ondo’s mix is anchored by tokenized U.S. Treasuries – roughly $3 billion per RWA.xyz data – alongside more than $1.3 billion in tokenized stocks and ETFs, from iShares Core S&P 500 exposure to Tesla and Micron wrappers. Ondo first announced crossing $4 billion in total value locked in mid-October, and RWA.xyz’s live figures now put its distributed asset value at about $4.07 billion, comfortably ahead of the pack.
Context matters: the broader non-stablecoin tokenized RWA market has swelled to roughly $39 billion, up from about $4 billion at the start of 2025. Ondo alone accounts for around 10% of it – a fat slice for one platform in a market with 203 contenders.
The chase is on, but the gap is widening
Former leaders like Securitize still top charts by some methodologies, and new entrants keep arriving weekly – this week alone, Matrixdock signed a banking-focused RWA partnership and Solana’s RWA value topped $5 billion. Yet Ondo’s twin crown as the largest issuer of tokenized U.S. Treasuries and the biggest tokenized-stock provider (even as its share of that specific market cooled from 56% to about 26% as the whole sector grew 483%) shows the difference between riding a wave and building the surfboard.
For an Ondo tokenization platform watcher, the takeaway is simple: tokenized Treasuries and equities are no longer a bet on whether traditional finance shows up – it’s a question of which platform it shows up through.
