The Solana RWA record has fallen once more. Tokenized real-world assets on the network reached a new high of $5.19 billion on October 29, according to on-chain tracker data reported by Coinotag and covered by U.Today and KuCoin — adding more than $1 billion in roughly a month.
For context, Solana’s tokenized asset stack sat near $2 billion at the end of Q1, crossed $3 billion in June, topped $4 billion in late July, and has now punched through $5 billion before November even opens. If real-world assets were a subway line, this one is skipping stations.
From $4 billion to a $5.19 billion Solana RWA record in one month
The acceleration is broad-based rather than a single whale moving house:
- Tokenized US Treasuries and money-market products remain the backbone of the market.
- Tokenized equities — public and pre-IPO shares — are the fastest-growing category on Solana.
- Institutional settlement of fund shares and credit instruments continues migrating onchain.
Solana’s low fees and sub-second finality make small-ticket, high-frequency tokenized products economical — the unglamorous plumbing that quietly decides which chain gets the next issuance. We covered the earlier leg of this climb — from $700 million to $4.3 billion in a year — and the pace has only steepened since.
Why the record matters for tokenization
The wider tokenized market is estimated at roughly $60 billion across 12 asset classes, with tokenized treasuries the most production-ready segment at about $15 billion. Solana capturing $5.19 billion of that puts it firmly in the first tier of RWA networks — and gives issuers a credible alternative to Ethereum for distribution.
It also sharpens the contrast flagged in industry research: about 97% of tokenized value remains out of reach for US retail investors. The rails are being laid quickly; the on-ramps for ordinary buyers are still under construction.
What to watch next
Three markers will tell us whether this Solana RWA record is a milestone or a launchpad: whether tokenized equities keep outpacing treasuries in growth terms, whether a major issuer chooses Solana for a flagship fund, and whether the $5 billion level holds as year-end rebalancing arrives.
Onchain finance rarely waits for permission — November’s OCC stablecoin rule and continued GENIUS Act implementation will set the regulatory tempo, but the tokenization conveyor belt is already moving.
