Recursive Capital, a venture capital firm focused on Bitcoin adoption in Africa, has successfully closed its first funding round. The fund, backed by prominent investors such as Jack Dorsey, Peter L. Briger Jr., and Jeff Booth, aims to invest in startups that are building a robust Bitcoin ecosystem across the continent.

Key Focus Areas for Recursive Capital:

  1. Commercial Products: The firm will support companies developing Bitcoin wallets, exchanges, and other user-friendly tools to facilitate broader adoption.
  2. Mining Operations: Recursive Capital will invest in mining operations that leverage renewable energy sources, promoting a sustainable and environmentally friendly approach to Bitcoin mining.
