Tomarket, the popular Telegram game, is gearing up to launch its highly anticipated TOMA token on The Open Network (TON) during Halloween. While the market value of the token will only be known once trading begins, the game’s developers are optimistic that players will invest in advance to enhance their token allocations.
On Monday, Tomarket announced a sale for its Premium Medal, a unique in-game item offering various benefits to users, particularly related to the upcoming token airdrop. The Premium Medal grants players a “bonus multiplier on your TOMA allocation,” along with a promise of “100% tokens when we list.” This indicates that players purchasing the medal will receive an undisclosed boost to their earned tokens from gameplay, while also suggesting that not all earned tokens will be distributed immediately without the medal.
This model is reminiscent of Hamster Kombat, which also delayed token distributions but did not offer a paid option for instant access. Tomarket has yet to reveal specifics about token vesting schedules or the size of the multiplier for those who purchase the Premium Medal. Priced at 1 TON or 250 Telegram stars—around $5—the item has a limited supply of 200,000, though the exact remaining quantity is unclear.
In addition to the TOMA token launch, the Premium Medal will provide a bonus multiplier for another upcoming feature or service, promising additional benefits to holders.
According to a Tomarket representative, players can expect their airdrop allocations to be delivered within 24 hours of the token generation event, scheduled for approximately 12 PM ET on Thursday, October 21.
Following the token launch, Tomarket plans to introduce a “Farming Pool” feature, allowing TOMA holders to earn tokens from new projects and earn rewards for referring friends to these initiatives.
