In a notable development, Bhutan has moved over 367 BTC, worth approximately $33 million, to a cryptocurrency exchange, according to data from Arkham Intelligence.

Bitcoin’s recent surge to an all-time high of $90,000 has sent shockwaves through the global financial markets, with the cryptocurrency climbing nearly 27% in just a week.

The Royal Government of Bhutan has officially surpassed $1 billion in Bitcoin holdings, cementing its position as one of the most significant state-backed Bitcoin holders.

With a population of just 782,000, Bhutan has achieved a remarkable feat in the cryptocurrency landscape, boasting Bitcoin assets that exceed those of El Salvador, which has a population of 6.3 million.
