Introducing Play-to-earn
Animoca Brands, the company behind Crazy Defense Heroes, has introduced a feature enabling players to connect their game accounts with their crypto wallets. This integration allows gamers to claim their TOWER rewards earned from playing CDH. To link their accounts, players must log in via their browser and connect using a Web 3 wallet like Metamask. By accumulating sufficient experience points within a month, players become eligible to share in a TOWER token prize pool. In June, this pool amounted to $17,000 in TOWER tokens.
The option for game creators to facilitate the linking of player accounts to Ethereum wallets means gamers can now play and earn crypto tokens. Failure to link accounts will result in forfeiture of reward entitlement. The forfeited TOWER tokens will be redistributed among eligible players who successfully completed the linking process.
How to earn TOWER tokens
Crazy Defense Heroes operates on a monthly payout system where players are required to meet specific XP targets to qualify for rewards. In August, the goal is set at 250,000 XP.
The game monitors each player’s XP progress, meaning those starting with a fresh account must accumulate 250,000 XP, while those beginning at 500,000 XP must reach a total of 750,000 XP.
At the end of the month, Animoca Brands will assess eligibility for the TOWER token airdrop. A predetermined amount of TOWER tokens is allocated to all qualifying players, contingent upon linking their Crazy Defense Heroes account to their Ethereum crypto wallet.
For August, Animoca Brands has committed to distributing 750,000 TOWER tokens among eligible participants, translating to a prize pool exceeding $54,000.
