Coinbase, a major crypto exchange, has added five new altcoins to its public listing roadmap, hinting at future trading availability. The tokens are AWE Network (AWE), Dolomite (DOLO), Flock (FLOCK), Solayer (LAYER), and SPX6900 (SPX).
The announcement was made on the exchange’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, including the contract addresses for each token on the Base, Ethereum, and Solana networks. Coinbase noted that final listings depend on additional factors like market support and technical readiness.
Historically, Coinbase has listed tokens from its roadmap quickly, suggesting these five could be next. The news immediately led to a price surge for all tokens. FLOCK saw the most significant gain, jumping nearly 37%. However, the price pumps were short-lived, with most tokens, including AWE and DOLO, experiencing a drop shortly after.
In a separate move, Coinbase has also officially launched trading for Sapien (SAPIEN). The token, which debuted yesterday, has already seen a 64% price increase. Coinbase accounted for the majority of SAPIEN’s trading volume, representing 23.74% of the total. The token’s daily trading volume surged to $73 million, a massive increase of over 18,000%.
