BTCC Announces World Trading Contest with 10M USDT in Rewards

The global trading event, with a “unprecedented prize pool” of millions in USDT, was launched on Friday, according to cryptocurrency exchange BTCC.

With cryptocurrency licenses in the US, Canada, and Europe, BTCC is one of the industry’s pioneering exchanges, having been founded in June 2011. The exchange’s most recent advertisement highlights its goal of improving accessibility to cryptocurrency trading for a variety of user types.

$10M USDT Cryptocurrency Trader Prize Pool

A press release from May 3 states that the BTCC World Trading Competition (BWTC) 2024 has begun, offering a whopping 10 million USDT in prize money. To promote inclusivity, the competition offers three categories: individual trading, copy trading, and referral competition.

Registration for the individual trading competition is currently open. With a $1.4 million USDT shared prize pool, competitors can win “up to 26,700 USDT monthly.”

Lead traders and copy traders are the two groups in which users can compete in the copy trading competition category. Copy traders will battle for 30,000 USDT, with their chances of winning dependent on their volume of copy trading, while lead traders will fight for a prize pool of 50,000 USDT based on their lead trading performance.

By encouraging new users to join BTCC, participants in the referral competition category can win USDT.

“With a prize fund of 65,000 USDT given out each month based on the amount of referred traders and the quantity of new members brought in, this encourages current users to bring new traders to the platform,” according to BTCC.

The BTCC stated it would offer “more categories of trading competitions” to provide customers additional chances to win from the large pricing pools, even if the announcement was vague about the contest’s duration.
