Binance has announced a temporary suspension of deposits and withdrawals for tokens on the Optimism (OP) network. This suspension will take effect on January 9, 2025, at 17:00 UTC, and is being implemented to ensure a smooth and secure transition during the scheduled OP network upgrade and hard fork at 18:00 UTC on the same day.
Trading on the OP network will remain unaffected throughout the upgrade period. Binance will handle all technical requirements related to the network upgrade.
Deposits and withdrawals for OP network tokens will be resumed once the upgraded network has been thoroughly assessed and deemed stable.
