Binance and Mastercard Launch Instant Crypto-to-Euro Transfers

Binance has partnered with Mastercard to enable users in Europe to instantly convert cryptocurrencies to euros and withdraw them to a Mastercard debit or credit card. This new feature, powered by Mastercard Move, is available on both the Binance app and website.

Users can either sell their crypto directly for euros and transfer the funds to their card or withdraw an existing euro balance from their Binance account. This partnership expands Binance’s off-ramping options, which currently include bank transfers.

According to Thomas Gregory, Binance’s Vice President of Fiat, the new “Sell to Card” and “Withdraw to Card” features aim to simplify and speed up the user experience. The collaboration highlights a growing trend of crypto exchanges partnering with traditional payment networks to improve transaction efficiency and compliance. However, the rollout of similar services may face challenges due to varying regulatory standards in different countries.
