Binance Labs, the investment arm of crypto giant Binance, is leading an investment round in Pluto Studio, a GameFi publisher known for its Telegram bot game Catizen.
Catizen, launched in March 2024, leverages Telegram’s massive user base to introduce Web3 concepts like blockchain and cryptocurrencies to a wider audience through its interactive mini-games and mobile payment options. Notably, Catizen integrates seamlessly with the TON blockchain, boasting over 25 million registered players, with 1.5 million actively participating on-chain.
Pluto Studio plans to utilize the investment to further develop Catizen and potentially introduce more games. “This investment validates our vision,” said Pluto Studio co-founder Ricky Wong, expressing confidence in building the infrastructure for the next generation of Web3 entertainment. With Binance Labs’ backing, Pluto Studio aims to propel Catizen to new heights and bring innovative solutions to the Telegram and TON ecosystems.
