The purchase, which occurred on August 27th, was distributed across three of ARK’s ETFs:
- ARK Innovation ETF (ARKK): 227,569 shares
- ARK Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW): 70,991 shares
- ARK Fintech Innovation ETF (ARKF): 40,553 shares
This move demonstrates ARK’s strong confidence in BMNR and its strategy of aggressively accumulating Ethereum. The firm’s continuous buying, even as the stock price recently dropped by 7.85%, highlights its long-term bullish outlook. Bitmine’s ETH holdings have recently surged to $7.5 billion, making the company a major player in the Ethereum treasury space, with its strategy often compared to Michael Saylor’s Bitcoin strategy.
This steady accumulation of BMNR shares is part of ARK’s broader strategy of increasing its exposure to crypto-related equities. In the past week alone, ARK also added shares in Bullish and Robinhood Markets, while also reversing a previous reduction in its Block stock position. Despite the recent dip in BMNR’s stock price, the company has seen a 490% increase for the year, supported by strong fundamentals, including a 67.5% increase in revenue for the quarter ending in May.
