Airhub eSIM announced on October 9th that it has begun accepting major cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), and USDC, as payment methods for travelers worldwide.
This integration allows customers to use their preferred cryptocurrencies to purchase eSIM plans on Airhub’s dedicated platform in over 190 countries.
During the transaction process, customers pay with crypto, but the company is settled in U.S. dollars.
Vanessa Morris, Airhub’s Head of Strategy and Growth, stated that the move is aimed at offering customers “more choice and privacy,” allowing anyone to purchase an Airhub eSIM using their cryptocurrency of choice.
