Terra Classic (LUNC) has been trading extremely high over the previous 48 hours, especially when compared to its overall 30-day performance. This is due to the recent passing of a block size proposal and an increase in volume.
However, the token is still quite a ways off. In the past day, LUNC has experienced significant fluctuations in its price and, as of this writing, it seems as though a fresh downturn is about to take hold.
Nonetheless, Terra Classic’s price is still well below its 2024 levels and has lost around 25% of its value over the last 30 trading days, even with the recent price spike.
AI predicts the initial fortunes of LUNC in May
Terra Classic is expected to stop its 30-day downtrend firmly, but it is unlikely to parlay the recent bounce into a more significant bull run, according to PricePredictions’ AI algorithms.
In fact, according to the platform, LUNC will trade at $0.000110 on May 1. This means that, considering its current price of $0.0001105 at press time, it is essentially expected that the cryptocurrency will not move significantly in the days ahead.
Nevertheless, such sustained stability seems improbable considering LUNC’s recent performance, the fact that it has only provided 13 green days out of the previous 30, and the fact that it is trading below its 200-day simple moving average.
Technical analysis (TA), which was obtained from TradingView on April 22, supports the doubts. It is noteworthy that oscillators do change from “sell” to “buy” without affecting the overall “sell” rating when based on the daily chart. Almost all oscillators and moving averages rate Terra Classic as a sell.
However, not everyone is pessimistic. A few, such as well-known cryptocurrency analyst Javon Marks on X, predicted that LUNC may soon rise 171% due to “signs of MAJOR STRENGTH.”
The performance of LUNC has been everything but guaranteed in recent weeks and months, regardless of whether the cryptocurrency market provides strength, weakness, or stability to the token in the upcoming weeks. In fact, during the past 52 weeks, Terra Classic has returned 1.83% in the green, despite numerous rallies and high volatility.
On the other hand, LUNC has experienced a violent decrease of 24.68% of its value over the past 30 days, starting in mid-April.
