Bitdeer Surpasses 2025 Targets: Self-Mining Surges 339% as AI Pivot Accelerates

Bitdeer Technologies Group (NASDAQ: BTDR) closed out 2025 with a series of massive operational milestones, exceeding its year-end guidance and reporting a dramatic increase in both Bitcoin production and high-performance computing (HPC) capabilities.

Record-Breaking Bitcoin Production

The company’s aggressive transition to proprietary hardware has paid off significantly:

  • Hashrate Growth: Bitdeer reached a self-mining hashrate of 55.2 EH/s by the end of December.
  • Production Surge: The firm mined 636 BTC in December alone—a staggering 339% increase year-over-year and a 21% jump from November.
  • Proprietary Edge: Growth was fueled by the rollout of the SEALMINER A2 and A3 series. Bitdeer also announced that its next-gen SEAL04 chip (boasting ultra-efficiency of 6-7 J/TH) is slated for mass production in Q1 2026.

The AI and HPC Expansion

Bitdeer is rapidly evolving beyond a pure-play miner into a diversified AI infrastructure provider:

  • NVIDIA Deployment: In December, the company successfully tested eight NVIDIA GB200 systems at its Malaysia facility.
  • Revenue Milestones: Its AI cloud platform has already achieved an Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) of approximately $10 million.
  • New Services: A serverless GPU cloud service is expected to launch on the company’s website later this month.

Infrastructure and Treasury

Bitdeer continues to optimize its global footprint, managing 1,658 MW of power across the U.S., Bhutan, Norway, and Ethiopia.

  • Data Center Conversion: Legacy mining sites in Tennessee and Washington are currently being converted into AI-ready data centers, with completion expected by late 2026.
  • Treasury Strength: As of year-end, Bitdeer holds 2,017 BTC in its corporate treasury.
