Bit Digital, already a major holder of Ethereum, significantly expanded its treasury in October 2025 by purchasing an additional 31,057.3 ETH. This acquisition brings the company’s total Ethereum holdings to a value of approximately $590.5 million as of the end of the month.
The purchase was financed through a $150 million convertible notes offering, reinforcing Bit Digital’s strategy of concentrating its investments in the Ethereum ecosystem. CEO Sam Tabar stated that the move is aimed at “building shareholder value by financing ETH accumulation on terms that are accretive to NAV per share.”
This strategic decision highlights Bit Digital’s shift, which began in 2022, from Bitcoin mining to an Ethereum staking focus. The company now holds a total of 153,547 ETH, with 132,480 ETH actively staked to generate rewards, reflecting a strong preference for yield optimization and stability within the digital financial infrastructure.
The company’s focus remains firmly on Ethereum, with no current plans to diversify into other assets, a transparent approach that is being closely monitored by market and industry insiders.
