Samsung and Coinbase Partner to Bring Crypto Access to 75 Million U.S. Galaxy Users

Samsung has announced a major partnership with Coinbase to integrate crypto access for over 75 million Galaxy users in the United States.

Exclusive Access and Seamless Spending

The collaboration grants Galaxy users exclusive access to Coinbase One, a premium membership that offers:

  • Zero trading fees.
  • Boosted staking rewards.
  • Priority customer support.
  • Account protection for lost funds.

Furthermore, the integration includes support for Coinbase Pay and the Coinbase One Card, allowing Galaxy users to easily spend and transact with their crypto holdings directly from their devices. This move aims to expand crypto utility beyond mere trading and into everyday commerce.

A Gateway to Global Crypto Adoption

This strategic alliance pairs Samsung, the world’s most popular smartphone brand, with Coinbase, one of the most trusted crypto exchanges. Shan Aggarwal, Coinbase’s Chief Business Officer, noted that the partnership combines Coinbase’s reliable infrastructure with Samsung’s immense scale and is just the start. Both companies plan to expand the offering globally over the coming months, intending to establish Samsung devices as a primary gateway into the onchain world.

Samsung executives emphasized that integrating Coinbase’s premium features into the already trusted Samsung Wallet positions the company as a leader in mobile finance innovation, betting that crypto functionality will soon become a standard feature of mobile ecosystems.
