Binance Prepares for Ardor Network Upgrade and Hard Fork

Binance, one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, has announced its full support for the upcoming network upgrade and hard fork of Ardor (ARDR). To ensure a smooth transition, the exchange will be temporarily suspending deposits and withdrawals for ARDR and related tokens.

Key Points:

  • Suspension Period: Deposits and withdrawals for ARDR and related tokens will be suspended starting at approximately 15:00 UTC on December 1, 2024.
  • Network Upgrade: The network upgrade and hard fork are scheduled to occur at block height 3,700,000, expected around 16:00 UTC on December 1, 2024.
  • Trading Unaffected: During the upgrade, trading of ARDR and other tokens on the network will continue as usual.
  • User-Friendly Process: Binance will handle all technical adjustments on behalf of its users, eliminating the need for any user action.
  • Resumption of Services: Once the upgraded network is confirmed to be stable, deposits and withdrawals will be resumed without further notice.

Binance’s proactive approach to supporting network upgrades demonstrates its commitment to providing a seamless user experience. By proactively managing the technical aspects of the upgrade, Binance aims to minimize disruptions and ensure the smooth functioning of its platform.

Stay Tuned for Updates

Users are advised to monitor their Binance accounts for updates regarding the resumption of ARDR and related token deposits and withdrawals. Binance will provide timely notifications once the upgrade is complete and services are fully restored.
