World Chain is set to equip its users and developers with essential tools and in-depth information as it prepares for its mainnet launch. In a strategic partnership with Dune, the project aims to provide participants with streamlined access to on-chain data, complemented by detailed analytics.
According to the project, “Dune will empower the Worldcoin community by offering insights and comprehensive analytics related to on-chain data.” This collaboration will enable users and developers to track critical metrics, such as the number of verified users engaging with the blockchain, the performance of decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols, and other key statistics concerning decentralized exchanges (DEXs) operating on World Chain.
Launched in April, World Chain is a part of a Superchain network of Layer-2 solutions built on the OP Stack, leveraging the security of the Ethereum network. The development of World Chain was driven by the need for scalability, with Worldcoin projecting nearly double the transaction capacity of the OP Mainnet.
Following the launch of the World Chain mainnet, Worldcoin plans to migrate over 10 million users of the World App from the current OP Mainnet. Although the mainnet launch was initially scheduled for the summer, it has been delayed, emphasizing the team's commitment to delivering a robust platform.
As World Chain prepares for its mainnet launch, the partnership with Dune stands to significantly enhance the analytical capabilities available to its community, fostering greater engagement and informed decision-making.
