The operation took place at a residential property in Ratchaburi, located to the west of Bangkok. Jamnong Chanwong, a chief district security officer, indicated that the mining facility had been heavily impacting the local power grid, with the operator reportedly paying minimal electricity fees compared to the energy consumption of the mining equipment.
