The Terra blockchain recently fell victim to a significant security breach, resulting in the unauthorized access and theft of millions of tokens. The exploit targeted a vulnerability within a third-party module called IBC hooks, which facilitates cross-chain contract calls and token movements across the network.

According to findings reported by Shinoji Research, there has been a purported data breach on the cryptocurrency exchange Bitfinex, potentially affecting the data of 400,000 users and involving the theft of 2.5 terabytes of data.
