The co-founder of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin, expressed support for Worldcoin, which is currently the focus of ongoing investigations.
Since its launch, Worldcoin (WLD) has been the subject of debates and inquiries, but there is still a lot of volatility surrounding it. Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin supported the cryptocurrency in spite of recent criticism from Portugal and Spain.
At this point, Buterin stated in response to a post regarding the recent negative attention that Worldcoin has received in Portugal that he thought the company had done a respectable job of implementing system design modifications in response to privacy concerns.
So, once again expressing his gratitude for Worldcoin, Vitalik Buterin said:
"They're actually doing a pretty excellent job of building their systems to be increasingly data minimum and taking privacy issues seriously. These days, cryptography is really incredible."
According to Vitalik, Worldcoin makes far more of an effort to ensure privacy than other centralized authentication systems.
As of this writing, there has been no response from WLD pricing over Vitalik Buterin's remark. WLD is still trading at $8.35 despite falling about 2% during the past day.
