Bybit, the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange, has announced the launch of the Bybit Card, enhancing its off-ramp services for users. The announcement, made on Tuesday, October 29, highlights Bybit's commitment to making crypto more accessible for everyday transactions.
Available for registration in select regions, the Bybit Card simplifies the process of accessing, holding, and spending digital assets. To celebrate its launch, new users can enjoy a 10% cashback on transactions, up to $600, during a limited promotional period. After this initial offer, future rebates will range from 2% to 10%, with an annual percentage yield of up to 8%.
The Bybit Card has been developed in partnership with S1LKPAY, a Mastercard principal member that specializes in Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) and Card-as-a-Service (CaaS). Operating under regulation from the Astana Financial Services Authority (AFSA), Bybit Limited has obtained a full license as of September 2023, making it the first platform to issue a prepaid card for international customers.
With the Bybit Card, users can make payments in various cryptocurrencies—including USDT, BTC, and ETH—wherever Mastercard is accepted, effectively bringing cryptocurrencies into the mainstream financial ecosystem. Notably, the virtual card comes with no hidden fees, eliminating annual or monthly charges that are typically associated with similar services.
Since early 2024, Bybit has been actively expanding the reach of the Bybit Card, now serving customers across four continents. Joan Han, Bybit’s Sales and Marketing Director, emphasized the company's dedication to ensuring that digital assets can address real-world financial needs.
As the Bybit Card gains traction, it is quickly becoming recognized as a secure and user-friendly solution for crypto payments, further establishing Bybit's role in advancing cryptocurrency accessibility on a global scale.
