On May 31, 2024, Animoca Brands Japan, a key subsidiary of Animoca Brands, unveiled the name of its NFT launchpad, SORAH by Animoca Brands Japan, slated for a summer 2024 release. SORAH will serve as a platform supporting NFT projects and creators by facilitating their NFT sales. It will offer selected projects sales opportunities and comprehensive support for their sales and marketing strategies. Additionally, the platform plans to introduce loyalty programs, including NFT rewards for users, providing various benefits. More details will follow in subsequent announcements.

Through initiatives like SORAH, Animoca Brands Japan aims to serve as a gateway to Web3, bridging Japan with the global community. By promoting Japanese IP, such as manga and anime, and developing globally appealing content within Japan, the company seeks to strengthen connections between Japan and the global Web3 landscape.

Establishing their own launchpad is intended to bolster these efforts and accelerate the adoption of Web3 by facilitating the exchange of IP between Japan and overseas markets.
