The settlement layer, based on a Solana fork and written in Rust, is accessible to developers without the need for prior Rust experience.

Morris explains that Koii is designed to prioritize decentralized storage while incorporating a layer of task nodes, utilizing personal devices. This innovative design addresses the challenges encountered in the early Ethereum prototype. With Koii Network, the collective power of thousands of consumer devices forms a consensus network, enabling the creation of highly scalable systems. By offering networks as a service, developers can establish their own group of task nodes, fostering on-demand scalability while leveraging decentralized storage.
